Literally, it means something along the lines of cracked pots have a fitting lid. This is a fitting expression for Japanese people who seek companionship and LOVE nabe!

For whatever type of person, there is a partner who tightly matches. No matter what, there is a fitting companion for you.

The word 蓋 (lid) is generally pronounced futa but for this saying it's pronounced buta because it sounds better
