うぬぼれ刑事 (The Conceited Detective)
Definitely one of our favorite shows of 2010. This comedy is about a conceited Tokyo detective, Unubore, who keeps falling in love with different women. But with his infatuation with these women, he is able to uncover their crimes. Despite finding out they're criminals, he is still in love with them and proposes to each one. He's not alone though, he has a tavern group of helpless bachelors to guide him through his romantic relationships. This drama is great for language dealing with love confession and proposals.
