Do you know what キュン (Kyun) means?

Kyun is is commonly described as ときめき (tokimeki) - palpitation; throbbing. The dictionary definition for キュン (kyun) is momentary tightening of one's chest caused by powerful feelings.

Basically, this describes the moment your chest hurts because you are lovestruck

Kyun is another Japanese ideophone, or onomatopoeia, that represents the sharp sound of a chest pain. It's a pretty new word and is commonly heard in casual conversations about love. Here is a common associated phrase:

胸がキュンとする。

mune ga kyunto suru.

胸 (mune) means chest area and キュンとする (kyunto suru) is the verb form of キュン.
